Welcome to Oaxaca

A cultural hub steeped in pre-hispanic tradition and history.

Nestled between the Sierra Mountains in Southern Mexico, Oaxaca is known for its colorful colonial buildings, bustling markets, rich artisanal traditions, heroic mezcal production, and flavorful regional cuisine with proud pre-Hispanic roots. Its beauty and charm will captivate you!

During our 8 days together, you will get to experience the best Oaxaca has to offer: from top restaurants, artisans, archaeological sites, a visit to the region’s palenques (mezcal distilleries), handicraft shopping and more. I can’t wait to introduce you to this incredible place!

Mendoza Wine Tour Oaxaca

Each of our tours is designed to offer an authentic experience, where local traditions meet the pleasure of fine wine and rich heritage.
From renowned wineries to charming villages, we’ll guide you through the people, places, and flavors that make every destination truly unique.

Cuisine of Oaxaca

Often considered the gastronomic capital of Mexico, Oaxaca is perhaps best known for its moles (sauces made from a complex mix of group up indigenous ingredients such as peppers, chocolate, and nuts). Mole negro is the iconic one, but Oaxaca is famous for six others.

Tlayudas, a large fried tortilla covered in lard, beans, cheese, and usually a meat or vegetable, is a local favorite. As are tamales oaxaqueños and caldo di piedra, a comforting vegetable soup. And, you can’t forget about the stellar chocolate and coffee, both grown locally.

Your extraordinary accommodations in Oaxaca

For the duration of the tour, we will stay in a colorful boutique hotel in the center of Oaxaca, steps away from cultural sites, top restaurants and great shopping.
