La Dolce Vigna

La Dolce Vigna believes that by using wine as a lens, we can truly get to know a particular place. Wine, after all, is an expression of nature, people, history, and tradition coming together. When we visit its source, we are inevitably introduced to the land and people who made the wine, the local cuisine that accompanies it, and the cultural practices woven into its very being. Furthermore, by drinking wine, we naturally slow down our pace, listen to our senses and experience our surroundings in a more profound way. Cheers to that!

Leslie Rosa

Founder of La Dolce Vigna

After a decade of working in the art world for eminent institutions and artists in New York and abroad, I moved to Italy, fell in love with the diversity of Italian wine and became a certified sommelier with the Associazione Italiana Sommelier.

Meet the Members of La Dolce Vigna

Elisa Pantano

Elisa is an Italian sommelier based in Venice. After studying Cultural Heritage and studying archaeology and conservation in Italy and Israel, she became fascinated with wine and eventually became the owner of a well-known restaurant in Venice for ten years. This experience shaped her enthusiasm for food and wine, realizing they represent the best moments for people to come together, to sit and share their stories, to express their feelings, and listen to others. During these years, she met many wine producers and visited their vineyards and cellars and is excited to share their stories with you.

Amanda White

Born and raised in New Hampshire, Amanda moved to California where she worked and trained as a sommelier, from there her passion for all Italian varieties came to life. Since making her home in Piedmont over ten years ago, she has made it her goal for more people to enjoy and understand the complicated landscape of Italian wines. Her favorite grapes are Grignolino, Nebbiolo, and Nerello Mascalese. When she’s not on tour or helping her husband in their vineyards, she is hosting food-themed dinner parties, or better yet the largest Halloween party the Langhe (Piedmont) has ever seen.
